I measured mainly the backlight in order to get a silhouette. PP: Lightroom 3: highlight recovery, desaturation, adding a hint of blue to the highlights and a hint of violet to the shadows. PSE7: creating border.

PP: turning the picture in Lightroom 3 into b&w with redbrown highlights and shadows. This gave the background layer for PSE7.
Again in Lightroom the same picture in colors with increased clarity. This was the second layer in PSE, 25 % opacity. Duplicated this layer with 100% fill-light, used the posterize filter, turned it into b&w and sepia, and then 10% opacity.
To finish, I flattened the image, increased the canvas, filled the border with a colour from the sky and used PTLens to get rid of the barrel distortion.
